The funeral for businesswoman Helen Bhagwansingh will be held on Sunday 5th November.

According to Bhagwansingh’s, a service will be held at the Aramalaya Presbyterian Church in Tunapuna from 11am before interment at the Waterloo Cremation Site.

Mrs Bhagwansingh passed away on October 30th at the age of 83.

She and her husband Hubert, who died in 2019, transformed her father’s business, Ramoutarsingh’s Hardware, into Bhagwansingh’s at Sea Lots.

Bhagwansingh’s then expanded into a group of companies which has been said to have made a significant impact on the local economy.

Mrs Bhagwansingh’s efforts in business and philanthropy earned her a number of accolades over the years, including the Order of the Republic of T&T in 2011.
