A hand grenade was found in Preysal yesterday.

Shortly after 6pm, officers of the Gran Couva Police Station, acting on information, went to a forested area in the district, where they found the grenade under a galvanize structure.

The Bomb Detection Unit was brought in and made the device safe, while the surrounding area was searched for secondary devices.
