Winston “Gypsy” Peters has won the title of Extempo Monarch 2024.

The Extempo Championship and Freestyle Competition was held yesterday at the Kaiso House Calypso Tent at Queen’s Park Savannah.

In the extempo category, Gypsy and Myron “Calypso Nite” Bruce was the final pair, with Gypsy winning the showdown.

Also held was a Freestyle Battle which came down to Heaven “Snakey” Charles and Anthony “Squeezy Rankin” La Fleur, with Squeezy Rankin eventually walking away as winner.
