Guyana and the UAE have signed a Memorandum of Understanding which allows visa-free travel between the two nations.
The Department of Public Information describes it as a significant step towards advancing bilateral relations and easing travel restrictions.
The MoU was signed on Thursday on the sidelines of the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly.
President Irfaan Ali met with UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation Reem Al Hashimy to sign the document.
