Guyana’s Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) has unveiled electronic gates (E-gates) and an online Embarkation/Disembarkation (E/D) form.
According to Stabroek News, the initiative aims streamline the immigration process and reduce wait times for travellers.
The digital E/D form allows travellers to complete necessary documentation before arriving at the airport.
The Stabroek News article quotes Deputy Chief Immigration Officer Stephen Telford as saying the initiative will expand to all ports of entry throughout the country shortly.
