Police have seized a gun, ammunition and cannabis during an exercise targeting a 33-year-old “priority offender” in Point Fortin.

Between 9am and 1pm yesterday, officers searched the suspect’s premises on Pangola Road.

They found and seized an AR15 Rifle, 7 rounds of ammunition with a magazine, and 250 cannabis plants in a hydroponic grow lab.

The TTPS says the operation was conducted under the authority of Section 8 and Section 13 of Legal Notice 240 of the Emergency Powers Regulation 2024.
