The 7th annual Avocado and Breadfruit Festival will be held this Saturday.

It takes place from 6am to 1pm and is a collaboration involving Green Market Santa Cruz, UWI’s Department of Food Production and the Nutrien Model Farm.

There will be presentations on the importance of breadfruit and avocados, with related food products on sale.

Breadfruit, avocado and other trees will also be distributed by the Caribbean Tree Planting Project.
