West Indies have gotten to 251/8 on day-one of a three-day tour match against a Cricket Australia XI.

Justin Greaves top scored with 65 while Kraigg Brathwaite and Kavem Hodge both made 52.

Left-arm pacer Liam Haskett has led the bowling for CAXI with three wickets.

The match is a warm-up for the two-match Test series against Australia which starts on January 16th.

The visit to Australia also includes three ODIs and three T20Is.
