Gordon Ramsay says he’s grateful to be alive after a recent cycling accident in Connecticut.

In a video posted on his social media over the weekend,  the famed chef said the accident “really shook” him.

There were no broken bones, however he then lifted his shirt to show a massive purple bruise on his torso.

He also thanked the “incredible” trauma surgeons, doctors and nurses who cared for him.
