GI will compete in the finals of the Ultimate Soca Champion.

It follows a decision made recently by the event’s organizers.

Initially, voting was underway to select two wildcards to advance to the finals of the Ultimate Soca Champion category and the Youth Soca Champion category.

However, due to concerns raised about irregular voting activity, a decision was made to nullify the wildcard vote.

The organizers subsequently proceeded with the highest scoring reserve contestants.

For the Ultimate Soca Champion category that was GI, while Verrse advanced in the Youth Soca Champion category.

The event finals will take place on February 20th at Queen’s Park Savannah.
