Eight Guyanese players are among those retained by Guyana Amazon Warriors for this year’s Caribbean Premier League.

They are: Shimron Hetmyer, Romario Shepherd, Gudakesh Motie, Kevin Sinclair, Keemo Paul, Shamar Joseph, Kevlon Anderson and Junior Sinclair.

Also retained is Barbadian Shai Hope, who was named Player of the Tournament for last year’s CPL.

Amazon Warriors can still sign up to five overseas players, with the remaining three squad members to be filled at the CPL draft which will be held in July.
