Effective immediately, tours to Gasparee Caves using private and/or hired vessels will be required to have a CDA Estate Police Officer accompany passengers on-board.

Notice of this comes today from the Chaguaramas Development Authority, which says the cost for the officer’s transportation must also be borne by the client.

103.1FM News contacted the CDA regarding this cost and we are currently awaiting further information.

It says, “the CDA hopes this security protocol tool will make for a greater level of well-being and enjoyment for all its customers.”
