The Eastern Main Road in Guaico, Sangre Grande will be temporarily closed to general traffic from 6am tomorrow, Wednesday May 21st.

This is to facilitate the completion of the Guaico River Bridge crossing as part of the Elmina Clarke Allen Highway project.

Interim traffic arrangements include a temporary bypass to facilitate motorists heading northwest in the vicinity of the construction zone at the Guaico River Bridge.

One-way traffic remains in effect for motorists heading northwest along Eastern Main Road between Railway Road Extension and Railway Road; as well as southeast along Railway Road and west along Railway Road Extension.
