Sitcom “Friends” was the most popular show on US streaming services in the past week.

This follows the passing of series star Matthew Perry on October 28th, 2023.

According to Variety Magazine, for the week of October 30th to November 5th, “Friends” (which is available on Max) was the top-ranked TV show among American viewers.

Max became the exclusive streaming site for “Friends” in May 2020 after the sitcom spent five years on Netflix.

“Friends” originally aired for 10 seasons on NBC, from 1994-2004.
