1,500 citizens will receive digital literacy training, free of charge.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation says this is part of its continuing partnership with the Youth Training and Employment Partnership Programme (YTEPP).
It says the four-week training will be offered in an online format, with persons also invited to visit its ICT Access Centres for access to desktop devices, reliable internet connection and/or hands-on, personalised assistance in using digital technology.
It says the training opportunity will focus on digital and life skills training such as safe use of the internet and a computer, efficient use of the internet and email, creation of Microsoft Word documents, use of Microsoft Office, completion and submission of online forms, and how to access and use online government services.

The Ministry says in 2022, the initiative offered training to 1,000 citizens.
