A 45-year-old postal worker has been hit with charges by the Fraud Squad.
Alice Baptiste, a Postal Office Leader attached to Arima Post Shop, is accused of collecting cash from sales and failing to credit it to the company’s account.
The matter was reported to the Fraud Squad, leading to the charge of Larceny Servant in the sum of $59,008.25.
Baptiste was granted $150,0OO bail by A Justice of the Peace, and is scheduled to appear at the Arima Magistrates’ Court on December 27th 2023.
