Former Minister and MP Fazal Karim has been laid to rest.

Mr Karim passed away yesterday at the age of 71.

A service was held this morning at the Greater Love Christian Centre, and then proceeded to Masjidun Nur in Carapichaima.

He was then to be buried at the Muslim Cemetery in Waterloo.

In a notice posted to Facebook, Mr Karim’s daughter requested that in lieu of wreaths and flowers, that donations instead be made to the T&T Cancer Society.
