Former India women’s cricketer Jhulan Goswami has joined the Trinbago Knight Riders women as a mentor for the 2024 WCPL season.
Speaking to TKR, Goswami said, “The conversation about me joining TKR started with Mr. Venky Mysore. As a management head, the way he takes care of everyone is amazing. I felt really honored by the way both Shah Rukh Khan and Venky sir welcomed me and spoke to me when we met in Kolkata during the IPL.”
Goswami retired from international cricket as the leading wicket-taker in women’s ODIs with 255 scalps across 203 innings.
TKR recently added international superstars Jemimah Rodrigues, Meg Lanning, Jess Jonassen and Shikha Pandey to the squad, ahead of the tournament this August.
