A 31-year-old fisherman was granted $200,000 bail for sexual offences against a minor.

He appeared before a North District High Court yesterday charged with two counts of sexual touching and two counts of sexual penetration of a child.

The man is accused of committing the offences at the victim’s home between July 28th and August 22nd this year.

In addition to bail, he was ordered to report to the Sangre Grande Police Station fortnightly and to have no contact with the victim.

He is expected to reappear in court on June 17th 2025.
