The families of the four divers who died in a Paria pipeline in 2022 have issued an official request for a meeting with the Prime Minister.
A letter was delivered yesterday to the Office of the Prime Minister.
Commenting on the decision via a Facebook post was Kevin Lalchan, who was there representing the families along with Vanessa Kussie and Annisa Kurban.
He said the request follows a statement by the Prime Minister last month, saying that he was willing to meet the families.
Fyzal Kurban, Yusuf Henry, Rishi Nagassar and Kazim Ali Jr, died after being sucked into a Paria pipeline during maintenance works on February 25th, 2022.
One other diver, Christopher Boodram, survived after crawling out of the pipeline.
