A suspect is expected in court today, charged with robbing a mini-mart using an imitation firearm.

The incident took place in St Croix Road, Princes Town on Saturday with the suspect being caught by police with the fake gun about 10 minutes after the alleged robbery.

The suspect had reportedly stolen cigarettes and cash and was found with the stolen goods and money in a bushy area.

He is due in court today on charges of possession of an imitation firearm and robbery with aggravation.
