A former VMCOTT employee has been granted $80,000 bail on fraud charges related to her application for her job at the company.
According to police, a woman applied for the position of Finance Manager and presented three tertiary education certificates and an ACCA certificate.
The documents were accepted and genuine and she was employed, however, officials later realized that the documents were fraudulent.
Following investigations, Tamika Chavillieur was arrested and charged with three counts of fraud and appeared in court yesterday.
The matter has been adjourned to April 14th, 2025.
