The Barbados Royals have brought in Laurie Evans and Qais Ahmad as replacement players for the 2023 CPL.

In a statement, CPL says Evans, an experienced top order batter from England, will replace Rassie van der Dussen who is no longer available due to international commitments.

Ahmad, meanwhile, will take the place of Maheesh Theekshana who will be in the Asia Cup for the first part of the tournament.

CPL 2023 bowls off on August 16th in St Lucia and will make stops in St Kitts, Barbados and Trinidad, before the final leg in Guyana.
