A spelling error on a newly erected sign at Morvant Junction has been rectified at no additional cost to the East Port of Spain Development Company.

A photo of the Welcome to Morvant/Laventille sign, part of the company’s Business Improvement District Project, was circulated online with social media users pointing out a misspelling of the word “Avenue” in Arneaud Avenue.

It was spelled “Anenue”.

In a media release, the company says mock-ups provided to the sign’s manufacturer did not bear any spelling errors.

As such, it says the issue was rectified at no extra cost to the East Port of Spain Development Company.
