The Energy Minister will soon head to Venezuela for the finishing touches on the agreement for T&T to access Venezuelan gas.

During the Post Cabinet briefing today, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley said extensive lobbying in the US, along with recent political developments, have now opened the door for commercial arrangements with Venezuela.

He adds that Mr Young is currently on vacation, but will get to business once he is back.

Meanwhile, the PM also announced today that a CARICOM – Saudi Arabia is being scheduled for November.
