Efforts to enhance security at Holy Faith Convent in Couva, other schools in Central

Efforts are being made to enhance security at Holy Faith Convent in Couva and other schools in Central Trinidad.

This information came from ACP Wayne Mystar who spoke with 103.1FM News today.

It follows reports that the student beaten outside the Holy Faith compound by several other girls yesterday, was not the intended target.

Audio has also been circulating in which one of the alleged perpetrators admitted to the attacking the wrong girl, and threatened the student who is believed to be the initial target.

ACP Mystar said community policing officers are working with school officials and the Education Ministry to enhance security at different schools in Central.

He added that no arrests have yet been made, with investigations continuing.
