The Education Ministry said CXC examinations e-testing has increased by 100% since 2023.

In a release, it says the progress was possible due to the laptop distribution programme, which saw 80,000 devices handed over to students and teachers since 2020.

It added that approximately 2,500 laptops were supplied to school labs in 2024, benefitting students in IT, Computer Sciences and Technical Drawing.
