Education Minister Dr. Nyan Gadsby-Dolly distributed approximately 60 pairs of glasses today as part of the Adopt-a-School Vision Programme.

These went to students from 10 primary schools.

So far, children from 80 primary schools have been tested, with a total of 328 prescriptions provided.

The UNICEF funded project, facilitated by Eye Vision Ltd, was conceived to ensure equitable access to education under the Schools in Focus and Adopt-a-School programmes.
