Arrangements have been put in place for the $1,000 book grant from government to be distributed in August.

The Education Ministry says during the week of August 5th, 2024, distribution to successful applicants, via direct deposit to bank accounts, will commence.

It notes that recipients will be alerted via email or telephone when funds are sent to the respective banks.

Then, starting the week of August 12th, 2024, persons without bank accounts will be contacted via email or telephone and advised of a cheque collection venue and other pertinent information.

Further notifications will be circulated via the Ministry’s social media.
