After Standard & Poor’s rated T&T as having a stable outlook, UWI lecturer and economist Dr Vaalmiki Arjoon says he was hoping for a positive one instead.

Yesterday, S&P gave this country a rating of ‘BBB-‘ which is generally considered to be “investment-grade”, as well as a stable outlook.

Dr Arjoon told 103.1FM News that the stable outlook can project the same result next year.

Meanwhile, Dr Arjoon says the “investment grade” status can benefit the country.
