Police have seized a drone and marijuana in Bon Air Gardens.

Last night, officers received information about a man piloting a drone in the area.

They attempted to apprehend the suspect, who ran off.

A search of the area resulted in the discovery of several black plastic bags containing marijuana, nylon thread and cigarettes, along with a drone, drone accessories and batteries.

Three persons are now in custody for various offences.

They were held during an exercise conducted in the Southern Division between 2pm and 11pm yesterday.

The TTPS says the suspects were arrested for offences such as possession of marijuana, possession of an offensive weapon, driving without a driver’s permit, driving without a certificate of insurance and failing to give fingerprints.

The same party of officers also went to Moruga, where they found one revolver wrapped in a black bandana and hidden under a tree off Simeon Road.
