Tobago police have destroyed a cultivated plot of cannabis after a drone-assisted eradication exercise this morning.

Tobago Divisional Task Force (Area East) officers uprooted and destroyed 38 plants with an estimated street value of $38,000.

Following a lead, a drone was deployed to survey the area where a plot containing several marijuana plants was located about 400 metres off the road, in the Boucher Trace, Belle Garden area.
