A doubles vendor at Coalmine, Sangre Grande was robbed on Friday morning by a masked gunman.

According to reports, the 34 year old victim saw the perpetrator walking towards her, and she announced a hold up.

The gunman reportedly took cash, and he escaped with another masked gunman in a forested area behind the business outlet.

Police began searching and according to a report on the Guardian Newspaper, officers found an AK47 Rifle with a round of ammunition, as well as several items of clothing.

There’s been no report on whether the perpetrators were captured.
