Dominica’s Prime Minister – Roosevelt Skerrit has pledged one million dollars to St. Vincent and the Grenadines to help with recovery efforts after Hurricane Beryl.

The announcement came during a press briefing at the Argyle International Airport this afternoon.

Mr. Skerrit is among several OECS heads of government currently in St. Vincent to visit the hurricane-ravaged areas.

Also present is Cayman Islands Premier Juliana O’Connor-Connolly who pledged US$500,000 towards recovery efforts in St Vincent and Grenada.

She has also brought relief supplies on a Cayman Airways aircraft that landed at the Argyle International Airport.
