The impact of the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike means the release of the next “Mission: Impossible” movie has been delayed by almost a year.
According to a report by Variety Magazine, Paramount Pictures is now expected to release the movie on May 23rd, 2025, as opposed to the original date of June 28th, 2024.
The next film will follow this year’s “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” which has gained over US$567 million at the box office.
Meanwhile, “A Quiet Place: Day One” will be released on June 28th, 2024 instead of its previously scheduled date of March 8th, 2024.
Also delayed is an untitled animated “SpongeBob SquarePants” adventure which has been pushed to December 19th, 2025 instead of May 23rd, 2025.
