A Yellow-Level Adverse Weather Alert is in place until 6pm today.

According to the Met Service, there will be scattered showers and periods of rain, particularly over northern Trinidad, and across Tobago.

It adds that there is an increased risk of landslides and landslips especially in areas such as the Northern Range in Trinidad and Main Ridge in Tobago.

Additional impacts can include street flooding, gusty winds and agitated sea conditions.
