Debutant James gives T&T three points in Nations League opener

19-year-old debutant Nathaniel James scored the lone goal as Trinidad and Tobago beat Curacao in their opening fixture of the CONCACAF Nations League.

T&T hosted the League A – Group A encounter at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain and had to wait until close to the end of the 90 minutes for the breakthrough.

James scored from close range in the 87th minute, roughly four minutes after coming off the bench to make his senior team debut.

T&T will next play El Salvador away from home on Sunday from 10:10pm T&T time.

T&T are also grouped with Panama, Guatemala and Martinique.
