Police roadblocks are important in the fight against crime.

This comes today from DCP Junior Benjamin, who spoke during a briefing hosted by the National Security Minister.

Last week, many expressed frustration after a series of coordinated roadblocks led to congestion in several parts of the country.

DCP Benjamin says in addition to traffic infringements, officers are also on the lookout for offenders.
