DCP calls for peaceful election campaigning

Deputy Police Commissioner Curt Simon is calling for peaceful campaigning in the lead-up to the April 28th General Elections.

At today’s police briefing, he said that the TTPS will be monitoring electioneering activity and called on campaign managers to urge supporters to be mindful when engaging in picong.

DCP Simon also reminded that a license is legally required for music trucks engaged in campaign activities.

He added that the necessary documentation for the process is available at Licensing Office and must be completed before being submitted to the TTPS for approval.
