David West has been re-appointed as Director of the Police Complaints Authority.

This will be his third consecutive term.

It is effective from today, December 13th 2024, for a period of five years.

Mr. West’s appointment was confirmed today by Acting President, Nigel De Freitas.

The PCA says throughout his tenure, Mr. West has demonstrated dedication to the Authority’s mandate, embodying integrity, leadership, and a steadfast commitment to accountability and transparency.
