Sunil Narine has been described as having been the X factor in the West Indies bowling attack by Cricket West Indies.
In a statement today, CWI thanked Narine for his service to West Indies cricket over his six Tests, 65 ODIs and 51 T20Is.
Narine announced his retirement from international cricket over the weekend.
CWI Director of Cricket, Miles Bascombe said Narine excited fans and brought them into the game, and wished him well in the rest of his playing career.
Narine was a member of the West Indies team which won the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in 2012 when they beat Sri Lanka in Colombo.
He played a crucial role with the ball in the victory, with three wickets as West Indies won by 36 runs.
