CTTRC assembles team to help address break-ins at schools, temple

A special team has been put together by the Couva Tabaquite Talparo Regional Corporation to help institutions recently hit by criminals.

Recently, there were instances of theft and vandalism at several schools, as well as the renowned Temple in the Sea.

103.1FM News spoke today with Corporation Chairman Ryan Rampersad who said it includes the likes of retired Senior Superintendents Johnny Abraham and Kenny McIntyre.

Mr Rampersad said police stations within the area are also working to help secure the region and its residents.

Mr Rampersad also agreed with comments from Mr Abraham that the TTPS seems incapable of handling crime, but believes it is all due to the line Minister.
