The most-followed person on social media, Cristiano Ronaldo, has launched a YouTube channel.

The Portugal footballer took to his platforms today to announce that the channel “UR · Cristiano” has gone live and to ask fan to head over and subscribe.

Already, there are a number of uploads with content ranging from him meeting his own wax figure and rating his best Euros goals, to talking about himself and his relationship with his partner Georgina.

Variety magazine notes that Ronaldo is the most followed person on social media with 917 million followers across various platforms and counting.

As at 11am AST on August 21st, 2024, his new YouTube channel had 1.57M subscribers.
