West Indies women will reportedly travel to Sri Lanka for three ODIs and three T20Is in June.

According to ESPNcricinfo, the tour from June 15th to 28th will primarily serve as preparation for the T20 Asia Cup but will also be the final competitive games for West Indies ahead of the World Cup in October.

The ODIs will be part of World Cup qualification – West Indies are seventh in the Women’s Championship where the top four teams, apart from hosts India, will qualify directly.

The West Indies women are coming off the back of a successful tour of Pakistan where they the ODI and T20I series.
