A Couva man has appeared charged with a murder stemming from an altercation on Christmas Day.

48-year-old Hardath Ram was not called upon to plead when he appeared before a Master of the Court today and will next appear on May 1st 2024.

57-year-old Kameel Sooknanan of Felicity died on January 4th 2024 after being beaten unconscious with a piece of bamboo.
