Police have seized an illegal firearm, a quantity of ammunition and several pieces of clothing with police insignia.

The items were found today in a vehicle parked in a yard at Valley Drive, 6th Avenue, Morvant.

They included two police operational jackets, one operational pants, one pair of black boots, three black hats, one police issued bullet proof vest, strobe lights, a pair of registration plates, a rifle and three magazines containing 90 rounds ammunition.
