Hundreds of Christians across Trinidad and Tobago have joined to participate in Good Friday traditions, as the holy Easter weekend begins.

Many gathered early this morning to witness the re-enactment of the Stations of the Cross and the Crucifixion scenes at various venues across Trinidad, including Mt St Benedict and San Fernando.

In his Good Friday message, Father David Khan encouraged persons to take the lessons of the Crucifixion and become a pilgrim of hope, adding that this is what is needed to make a better world.

He was speaking at the Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church in San Fernando, during the culmination of the Stations of the Cross walk.
