T&TEC has a new General Manager in Mr Chrisalston Belle.

Mr Belle was most recently the power company’s Chief Technical Officer and took up his new portfolio on January 1st, 2025, replacing Mr Curvis Francois.

During his 32-year career, Mr Belle contributed to a number of projects including the commissioning of the Union/Gandhi 220kV circuit in April 2023.

This circuit takes electricity from Trinidad Generation Unlimited in La Brea to the Gandhi Substation, where it is transmitted to the rest of the country.

Mr Belle also managed the Malabar Substation construction project and a number of internal training programmes for craftsmen and technicians.
