Chris Must List to explore legal action against newspaper

YouTube creator Christopher Hughes says he intends to take legal action against a local newspaper over a recent article.

Known online as Chris Must List, Hughes took to his Instagram Stories today to address what he said was “social media misinformation”.

Among them is a report that he went with police on a “tour” through gang areas.

Hughes insists he was locked up “24 hours a day” and says he will be filing a civil suit against the newspaper that published the story.

He also denied claims that he was a millionaire, insisting that he lives “check to check”, with his travel and accommodation expenses often greater than his average monthly YouTube earnings.

Hughes recently started a Go Fund Me to help with legal expenses.

He is due to return to court tomorrow, after being granted bail on Monday for a charge of Publishing a Statement with Seditious Intention.
