YouTuber Chris Must List has released a statement, his first since his arrest last week.

The Canadian – real name Christopher Hughes – insists the money laundering allegations against him were false and accused the Government of corruption.

He adds that he is unable to leave the country, as his passport was is being held from him and that he has been ordered by the court to stay in the country.

He also believes that the arrests and charges are part of attempts to silence him.
